“So issue with the recipe is the fact that if you are a novice cook, you may use the wrong apples. Ideally using a mixture of macintosh for sweetness/sauceiness and grannysmiths for texture and depth of flavor should give you the best result for applecrisp. Otherwise this is a good recipe"”

“The seasonings were good, just not enough. I doubled them all to get enough seasoning to the dish. Adding onions and peppers would also work well with this dish.
Also, The cook time is way underestimated, it takes a good half hour to soften the veggies enough."”
