“While the idea of an apple cider brine is great (we did one for our turkey at Thanksgiving and it turned out amazing), you couldn't taste the apple flavor at ALL because of the cooking method- frying.
This came out awful. Might have something to do with my inexperience at frying, but the apple taste certainly did not come through...”
