Reviewed Cold Cauliflower Soup with Bacon and Croutons

Oct 19, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This recipe is simple and delicious. The croutons and bacon make it even more special. It is perfect for lunch throughout a busy week. I liked it hot or cold. I also had some extra Gruyere cheese from another recipe so I sprinkled some on my croutons before putting them in the oven! I will definitely be making this again!""

Easy and delicious! The only thing I changed was I didn't add the white wine because I did not have any. My husband loved them as well, and I will definitely be making these again!"

This was delicious! The only thing I changed was I left out the celery. The parmesan and vinegar added at the end really makes it amazing! I will definitely be making this soup again!"

Reviewed Stuffed Chicken Divan with a Sherry Dijon Sauce

Jul 6, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This was delicious, but I changed the sauce because I did not have evaporated milk or sherry. I used smoked mozzarella instead of Gruyere b/c I had it on hand already. For the sauce, I simply made a roux with butter and flour, added some skim milk, brought it up to a boil to thicken it, and then I just added some garlic, fresh lemon juice, dijon m"

Jul 6, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

My family thought it was delicious... but we had to doctor it up a little as well. I added a bay leaf, a dash of coriander, ground ginger, curry powder, and some cayenne for a little kick. I will definitely maake this again, but next time I might only use one can of chickpeas."

Reviewed New Potato and Green Been Salad

Jul 6, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

My family thought it was delicious... especially after chilling it in the fridge for about an hour. I did not have a problem with a "sour taste" like the other viewers suggested. When you mix dijon mustard and white wine vinegar that is usually the flavor combo you will get. I had some extra parsley and scallions so I added those in. I added a pin"

Reviewed Crawfish Cardinale in Puff Pastry

Apr 21, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Simple & delicious... We had leftover crawfish and corn from a crawfish boil. I used the crawfish from the boil and threw in the corn as well... I didn't have any brandy so I just left it out... but we will definitely be making this again!"

I could not find the chiles, but these were delicious without them! I had some leftover black bean soup so we spooned that over the top. We toasted the tortillas in a pan for a few minutes on each side, and we topped them with light sour cream, cheddar cheese, jalapenos, and fresh cilantro! EASY AND YUMMMMMMMYYY! I will definitely be making these...

Reviewed Vietnamese Crispy Carrot and Cabbage Salad with Sliced Chicken and Chile-Lime Marinade

Jan 6, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I did not really care for the dressing at first. Once I added a couple of tablespoons of honey it was better. I also marinated the chicken in the dressing and then grilled the chicken. I still was not that impressed. The salad was definitely crunchy, but it was not that good for the amount of chopping and prepping. I probably will not make this a...

This recipe was just ok. It wasn't bad, but my guests did not go back for seconds, and neither did I. I probably won't make this again. Sorry Giada.

Reviewed Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with Blue Cheese Slaw

Dec 22, 2010 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

If you love chicken wings dipped in bleu cheese then you will love this. The only thing I changed was I baked my chicken instead of fried. Also, I made my own buffalo sauce... tomato sauce with worceshire, hot sauce, and butter! And instead of Mayo in the slaw I used light sour cream! It still was good. Next time the only thing I would change is I...
