Ditto of many of the reviews. Light and rich at the same time. I'd also use demitasse -espresso cups- to serve or just make half servings. If you don't have vanilla beans to make the sugar -which was super easy and looked great!-, you could buy 'vanilla sugar' that is starting to be available in US grocery stores. Just what I expected! Not too sweet for us. I used Vanilla Vodka. Also, I used Moka Pot espresso. Made the simple syrup with the exact proportions as the recipe indicated.

NOTE: to make this properly note that the sugar is 2X the H20. And the martini recipe only uses a little bit of the SS you've made!
