I had high hopes for this recipes because of the great reviews, but it didn't turn out too good for me. The crust didn't stay together even though I froze it for twice as long as called for and the filling didn't really have any malt flavour to it. It was basically a chocolate bar on top of cookie crumbs."

The steak turned out great. I love that they actually gave instruction on how to cook the steak (time, oil, seasoning) because most recipes just say cook steak to desired doneness but I'm not that familiar with T-bones so that was helpful.

This recipe was absolutely delicious, and I'm not even a big fan of pears. It was a perfect dessert for the fall weather and a big bonus-it made the house smell so good! I used 1 tsp of ground ginger instead of 1 tbsp of fresh ginger and it worked out great!
