Reviewed Stuffed Cabbage

"We halved this recipe and made it this evening. I thought it was quite wonderful. The flavor of the thyme really came through. I did find the sauce to be a bit too sweet but we will adjust it next time. I also boiled the leaves seperately instead of a whole head of cabbage for 4 minutes then straight into a bowl of cold water this worked out great.

"I recommend adding half of the salt and pepper called for by Guy and seasoning to taste torwards the end of cooking. I found the salt and pepper in this recipe to be overwhelming.

"I made this true to Ina's recipe and although the sauce was very strong, when spooned over the breaded chicken breast the flavor became less intense. I did find that the breading became soggy on the pan side while in the oven. Not one of my favorites from Ina but a nice change from my usual cooking..

"This was my first attempt at salisbury steak and it turned out wonderful. I read a few of the other reviews and did not add any additional salt. Otherwise I followed the recipe as written by Sandra and enjoyed every bite! I will make this again.
