Good just as is. When i come across a recipe that I want to try, I ALWAYS make it as the author of the recipe intended. Aaron, I just made the soup and it was very good. I did one other thing, I drained most of the grease from the roasting pan, deglazed with some white wine-and some of the soup broth that was already simmering, and added it back to the soup broth...deep flavor! I love searching thru books, web etc getting recipes, and trying them not only on myself...
