I won't be making it again... I used 1/4 cup chili powder and mine was still too hot. Somehow with all of the flavor put into this the meat is still bland with a way too hot and gritty chili powder bomb sauce. I followed exactly except for the chili powder. 3/4 c has to be a misprint. It was a waste of a good roast. Not horrible, but not as good...

I just put this together. This is my second time making it. I made the following revisions. I decreased the broth to 8 cups. It was too runny with 10. I did use mexican chorizo because I had it in the fridge. I love that flavor, but last time it was too spicy for some of my household. Because it's mexican chorizo I browned it on the stove "
