Left out the tomatoes, reduced the mayo to 3/4 cup, substituted craisins for the raisins, added 1/2 cup toasted sliced almonds and substituted prepackaged grated 4 cheese mix for the cheddar chuncks . It was fabulous! I will make it again."

This is the second year I have used this recipe. I substituted butter for the shortening, other than that I followed the recipe exactly. This was really good. I substituted one pound of whole grain penne pasta. I added 1/2 medium chopped onion and one whole chopped red bell pepper and a total of three cloves of garlic to the oil.
