Reviewed Lasagna Rolls

Second time I made it. Was fantastic, but takes toooo long to make. Next time, I'll use her filling in a traditional lasagna. Just alternate the bechamel & marinara sauce... I added cooked chicken sausage (casings removed before i cooked it) to the spinach & cheese mixture.

My concern was the richness of the entire dish.
Despite it being tasty. it was so heavy that I couldn't eat more than an appetizer's worth.
And that's with me thinning the sauce with chicken broth and using 3 quarters of the mascarpone cheese"

This was surprisingly good! i can't believe what a difference the fennel made. I'm not a fan of licorice, but this was amazing. The fennel was mellow, but added depth to the overall combination of flavors. Yum!""
