"This has been a favorite special occasion breakfast in our house for several years! SOOOOOO good! We changed a few things- used thicker sliced ( 3/4") , day old french bread, and use Captain Crunch cereal crumbled up for the coating ( cause it's not sweet enough, you know! ;) . Following the steps exactly is important so it doesn't get soggy-""
