These dumplings are AWESOME! The herb mixture lends a very nice aftertaste. A good tip is to grate the chilled butter directly into the flour mixture. It makes it much easier to cut in, while still allowing a perfect consistency when steamed."

I'm rating and reviewing based on a significant modification--I use a leftover rotisserie chicken carcass and essentially halve the rest of the recipe for chicken dumpling stew instead.
