I really liked this marinade. Not my all time favorite, but very very good. I cut the recipe in half used low sodium soy sauce and added 1/2 Tbsp honey, 1/2 tsp fresh lemon juice, a pinch of pepper, and used the full 1/2 tsp garlic. This recipe sounds so good, I have it in the oven right now. I do have a question about the amount of bread in the recipe. It says a loaf 13-16 oz and the loaf I bought was 14 oz but I could only get 14 1 inch slices out of it not the 20 stated in the recipe. Any advice?
