About Me
I am a lawyer in the real world and a chef in my fantasy world. I get such a feeling of zen when I'm chopping onions, herbs, and peppers with my favorite knife and I read cookbooks like novels. There is constantly a stack of cookbooks and recipes I've printed out next to my fav chair.I was born and raised in rural Alabama and lived for twenty years in Texas, so I love traditional Southern and Tex-Mex foods.
Favorite Foods
I don't have a singular favorite food. I enjoy all types of cooking and baking. I'm always game to try something new. It makes me so happy when others enjoy my food. This year, after being inspired by the movie Jule and Julia, I'm determined to tackle some of the traditional french sauces.
