Reviewed Beef Stroganoff

"Wow! Wow! Wow! I am a convert! The tomato paste mustard and lemon add a zest to this dish that goes from a hearty (albeit boring) winter dish to a hearty, "Spring is coming!" kind of dish! I'm not a gourmet cook but I am a foodie and enjoy well made, tasty and interesting dishes. This hit the spot, literally and figuratively. I substituted tofu sour cream (what??? as I'm trying to minimize my dairy and animal products and substitute when I can; the dish was amazing. I'm sure others may be able to tell the difference and if one insists I'm sure it would taste just as wonderful with regular sour cream. I also used lean organic sirloin. This is the second time I've made it; it was the end of the month before payday and I used hamburger from the freezer instead. The sauce definitely makes this go from yum to wow!
