Reviewed Good Eats Roast Turkey
"Ok, although I usually follow the recipe to a T, this time I simply ran out of time and had to skip the brining process altogether. I took my thawed out 11.5 lb turkey, washed & dried it, made and used the aeromatics as directed, added the water from the aeromatics & a tad more to the roasting pan, did the 500 degrees for 30 mins, turned down the oven to 350 for 2 hours. I tented the bird with the last hour to go. TURNED OUT PERFECT!! Juicy, moist - TASTY!!! Many thanks, Alton!!!
