"These bars are AMAZING! I made them for a class party this past summer for the first time, and two batches of this recipe just disappeared. I came to leave this review, because I just received emails from a few people and they all wanted the recipe. The all said they had been thinking about them since last summer, and really wanted to make them. I have even had people tell me that they can't buy them at bakeries anymore, because they don't taste like mine. I follow he recipe exactly...no special talent on my part..trust me. The only thing that I think may be a little different is that I whisk them with my hand mixer whisk attachment. This makes them very foamy, so they get a foam crust on top, gooey lemon center, and great shortbread bottom. These are meant to be gooey, sweet, and REALLY sour, but that is what most people go nuts over!"
