Reviewed Chicken and Dumplings

"Needs to cook longer so the vegetables become tender, but I understand Rachael wanted to get it done in under 30 minutes. The consistancy was not nearly as rich and creamy as I like it. The proportions of meat and vegetables were right-on and the flavor was pretty good. A little more flour next time and it should be really good.""

Reviewed Linguine with Shrimp and Lemon Oil

"I used Barilla whole wheat linguine since it was a healthier option and it worked out. I started the pasta water first and by the time I had everything else prepped and ready, the pasta was done too. Perfect timing! Also, I used Meyer lemons since they have amazing flavor, and this dish IS pretty much all about the lemon flavor, isn't it?

Not a chef, but I enjoy cooking and do pretty well - thanks to Food Network online.  I like to cook up all types of ethnic cuisine but Mediterranean dishes are my favorite!
