This recipe is time consuming but worth the wait. I ate these cookies from Fluff Bake Bar in Houston once a week. Then they featured them on Unique Eats and posted the recipe - man was I happy! This is not really a ginger snap, but more of a chewy cookie. If you are a ginger cookie lover, you must try these! My absolute favorite!!!"

This was very tasty and very easy prepare. I had it on the table in 20 minutes! I omitted the cream cheese and doubled the goat cheese. Like the previous comments, be generous with the reserved pasta water and cut back on the garlic if you or your guests are sensitive to it.

This is a great go to recipe for a simple weeknight cornbread. I do add more salt, and then let the batter sit in the fridge for 20 minutes so that the jalepeno flavor intensifies. Serve with salted butter and enjoy! Thanks Paula!""
