Reviewed Pan Roasted Filet Mignon with Rum-Red Chile Sauce

"This sauce was not for me; yuck. The flavors with the rum ( I used Meyers) and molasses was way too strong.

Reviewed Christmas Cornish Game Hens

"This was an awesome rub, in my opinion it’s not salty at all. I used regular table salt. We only made two hens with half of the original rub recipe. Next time I might make more rub mix to season the inside better. If you have a rack or roaster pan to cook the birds on (we don’t) it will help the skins crisps. The vegies ended up salty from the birds juice but, the birds them self’s were not. Again the problem would be avoided with a roaster pan, or roasting the vegies separately

Reviewed Chocolate Gooey Butter Cookies

"I probably won’t make this recipe again. They weren’t awful; just not good. Honestly they taste like chocolate cake mix. Maybe more cream cheese in the mix or cream cheese frosting on top?

Reviewed Roasted Parsnips and Carrots

"I love this! It was so easy; there was no need to measure the ingredients. I had baby carrots so I used those and fresh dill, yumm. I had a vegan guest for dinner. This was one of the things I made, it was perfect. It is sure to be a staple.

Reviewed Apple Crisp

"Simply delicious! This recipe is great. Supper quick. I was out of cinnamon and only had nutmeg and it still turned out! I didn’t have ice cream so; I took about ¼ to ½ cup eggnog and chilled it in the freezer while it was cooking and stirred then drizzled it over the top after the crisp was partly cool. It was perfect for the holidays.

Reviewed Tilapia with Balsamic Browned Butter and Creamy Farfalle with Bacon, Tomato and Peas

"Seriously, this would have been a 5 star rating omitting the pasta. This balsamic glaze rocks!!
It is so easy and delish!! This has become a family staple for us. As others have stated it works great with chicken too. The pasta dish in my opinion is not worth the effort. We make this with pesto pasta with lots of parma.
