My Activity

Reviewed Bacon-Wrapped Meatloaf with Brown Sugar-Ketchup Glaze

"This is the only meatloaf recipe I use. My husband hates meatloaf but loves this and requests it. I do not use the bacon. I double the glaze, put half on the loaf before putting in the oven, and put the rest on when there are 15 minutes left on baking time. "

Reviewed Salisbury Steak

"Delish! Wasn't sure my husband would like it since he's not a meatloaf-type fan, but he helped put the gravy together and was the first one done with his plate. We made the peas and carrots and some mashed potatoes, what a great comfort dinner. Great recipes, will use again. "

Reviewed 5-Minute Individual Potato Gratins

"Delish! I loved that they were quick cooking. They definitely took longer than 5 mins to prepare. I added a little garlic to the cream (made into a paste with a little salt), used yellow onion and Monterey Jack/asiago Parmesan cheeses because that's what I had. Great idea, we will definetely make these again with other variations. "

To puree half the sauce, I just stuck an immersion blender in the pot for about 10 seconds...it didn't take long. The sauce was thick enough that I didn't add the butter/flour mix""

Reviewed Homemade Orange Marshmallows

"Excellent! It did take forever to get to 240 degrees, just that last 10 degrees between 230 and 240 took a lifetime. I got impatient and boosted the burner up a bit, and by the time it hit 240, I did have a little brown burnt on the bottom of the pan, and the syrup had a "tinge" of a caramely color (very slight) but I assure you if you don't scr""

Reviewed JKL Pesto Pork and Veggie Roast

"The show itself was fantastic! I'm a Matthew fan but thought their teamwork and friendship created a great segment while cooking this meal. I made the veggies and the pork roast. I love pesto on anything, so knew before I started this was going to taste good. I followed the instructions completely except for the rack - I used a flat rack and s""
