Thought the flavor was delicious. I added lots of shallots when browning the chops, since I have them on hand and love them. Served with roasted rosemary red potatoes and side salad. My only complaint about pork chops in general, is that they seem tough to me. Don't seem to have this issue with a pork loin roast when I make it - just pork chop"

I thought this was delicious. My first time using fennel. Just make sure you cook the fennel until it IS tender - or it may stay slightly crunchy. Managed to get it right the first time I made this - but must have been just way too hungry the second time - did not saute the fennel quite long enough - but dish was still good nonetheless! Thought flavor was great - (love fresh blueberries - so that's what I used). Used leftover french bread. My only complaint is that the filling never appeared to ever set - even after baking the devil out of it! Next time - will take the suggestion of others here to let this sit in the fridge overnight before baking. May use a little less cinna"
