Reviewed Eggplant and Tofu Curry

"I made this without reading the reviews first, which I never do but... I thought it was a pretty good dish. I would leave out the water and double the cocoanut milk. I think adding more curry would be a good idea too. My family enjoyed it very much but agreed with the cocoanut idea. Not really spicy even with all the fresh ginger and jalapeno. A g""

Reviewed Angel Hair Pasta with Lemon, Fingerling Potatoes and Sunflower Greens

"Very tasty! Didn't think the potatoes added anything to this dish, however. I might substitute peas instead. Made it a little larger for a dinner dish. It does drink up the sauce though so watch out. Very happy to have found a new cream sauce that is so simple yet so delicious. Great dish overall.""

Reviewed Lentil Vegetable Soup

"This soup was not that great. I love Ina's recipes but I don't think soup is her thing. This is the 2nd one I've tried and will not make again."

Reviewed Chicken Tetrazzini

"I was looking for a chicken recipe last night and came across this one. Read the reviews, some were good and some not so good. Decided to give it a try anyway. I like to roast bone in chicken breast in the oven on 350 for about 20-30 min with a little olive oil and S&P. So I did my chicken like that. Then I used the same pan with the juices added a little butter and did the mushrooms etc. I made the sauce as in the video, prior to cooking everything else. When I put everything together I added more nutmeg because the flavors were not really there. I used 16 oz pasta and there was plenty of sauce. The flavors of this dish are subtle. This morning when I was making a lunch portion with the left overs for one of my daughters, I tasted it again cold. The flavors were amazing. Standing in the fridge overnight really gave this dish a chance to develop. Next time I make this dish I will either do it early in the day or the night before and let everything have a chance to blend and marry. "

Reviewed Roasted Potato Leek Soup

"Props to Ina. well done. All I can say is WOW! This simple but elegant soup is amazing! So easy and so good. It is going on our "I could have this once a week list". Don't change a thing it's perfect!!! I think that people who don't cook should not rate recipes. They just don't get it.
