Reviewed Sausage, Kale, and Lentil Soup
"Very hearty soup! I made some modifications. I added some garlic powder and I used 2 cups of chicken stock and 2 cups of beef stock. I also let the soup simmer for 1 hour and 25 minutes. I HATE under cooked lentils and I felt that they needed more time to cook. Also, I used chicken sausage and I would have added another pound (I love sausage).""
Reviewed Sausage Lasagna
"So great! I added some chopped green pepper to the sausage and onion mix. I also skipped the cottage cheese which I am not a fan of.""
Reviewed Artichoke Pasta Salad
"Great! Perfect for a Summer BBQ. Full of flavor! I did put salt and pepper on the artichokes and the tomatoes for some more flavor in addition to the wonderful and flavorful herb oil. I also put some crumbled feta cheese on top for decoration and flavor.
I am not sure what the other reviewers are referring to about the pasta lacking flavor. "
Reviewed Turkey Chili
"Tastes more like soup than chili...
Reviewed Artichoke and Sun-Dried Tomato Stuffed Chicken Breast
"Great dish! I made some modifications:
I didn't spring for the sun dried tomatoes which might have made a difference (I used fire roasted diced). In addition, I added some fresh mozzarella in the stuffing. I also decided to bake the chicken instead of cook it in the pan.
I think next time I will add sauteed spinach and forgo the tomatoes.
Reviewed Uncle Al's Sausage and Peppers Casserole
"This was FANTASTIC and guilt free...no carbs, sugars, and additional fat (butter etc). Very tasty and easy to make. This will definitely be a staple in my recipe book.
Reviewed Balsamic Glazed Chicken Breast
"My house smelled LOVELY when I made this recipe! The wine sauce is divine and the chicken soaks up all of the flavor! I made this for Christmas dinner and it was lovely!
Reviewed White-Bean Chili
"So good!! I used baby spinach instead of the collard greens. Tasty and filing. The cilantro really gives it a great twist!
