"I love this recipe! I did cut out all the dried fruits because my family is not a cooked fruity kind. I did cut back on the cinnamon and brown sugar mixture and didn't add the cloves...I actually halfed the cinnamon mixture. After those variations...this recipe is a winner in my recipe collections. It's a very good basic recipe with no yeast. I love it! I make them for people all the time and they love them! Love the buttermilk glazed topping. Oh and one more thing...I bake these up in muffin tins and they bake up beautifully.
