Reviewed Butternut Squash Tamales
"Excellent Tamales! I had just roasted some butternut squash and wanted to do something different. I followed the recipe fairly closely. I even used the capers (of which I am not a fan). I made a double batch and I think I made about 30+ tamales. I shared these with many friends and everyone said they were the best tamales they have ever had! ""
Reviewed Chocolate Peppermint Cookies
"Chocolate and mint is a favorite combo for me and these were fantabulous! Moist, deep chocolate cookie with a delicious mint glaze. I made the mint glaze with pure peppermint extract and added a little extra, too. These were perfect for my Holiday cookie gift box. Since I cannot eat eggs I use "Ener- G" Egg Replacer (found in natural food stores)""
Reviewed Almost-Famous Soft Pretzels
"Based on the reviews -- I decided to make these last night just for kicks. These pretzels turned out fantabulous! Really easy and fun to make. My husband rolled out and shaped his pretzels and I did mine. I did not have course salt so I used high quality sea salt - sprinkled very lightly and I brushed on the melted butter. Scrumtrulescent!!
Reviewed Earl Grey Shortbread Cookies
"Scrumtrulescent! These are delicious. I am a big fan of shortbread and I love unusual ingredients so I had to try these. So easy to make, it was a pleasure. I used Tazo Earl Grey Tea - very fragrant! These cookies were light, crisp and the tea created a wonderful subtle flavor. This is a shortbread recipe you could really play with!!
