"I had an abundance of cucumbers in my garden and was looking for a way to use them. This recipe did the trick! It was cool and refreshing. I used vodka instead of gin and put it the freezer unti we were ready to drink it. I took it to an End of Summer Party and it was a hit.""

"I added a jalapeno pepper, 2 Tbs. chopped cilantro, 1 Tbs. fresh dill and a couple of garlic cloves to spice things up a bit and it was delicious. I agree that the original recipe sounded a little too bland for me. However, I loved it with the additions and will make it often. ""
