Let me just admit that I cheated and used a mix. Of course they weren't as good as Ina's, but the idea of caramel and sea salt is great. I should have included her stand-by coffee granules too, would have kicked it up a notch. Anyway a good idea. Who doesn't like a brownie? Or caramel? Or sea salt. Mmmmm."

I used sprouts right off the stalk. With these flavors--wow. Loved it. I didn't skewer them either. The microwave part cooked them a lot, so I pan sauteed them to finish. I was surprised to microwave them without water or cover but it worked so well I will experiment with other dense vegetables. Alton never fails."

It was delicious and fun to make. Ina never fails. Really moist and very rich tasting! Had to use large eggs instead of jumbos but it seemed to work. I thought the coffee taste in the frosting was a little strong/bitter and would reduce to 1 tsp. next time--personal preference. Also didn't get the instructions when they said butter, than parchment"
