Reviewed Piri Piri Mackerel

"So mackerel was one of the "good fish" that's good for you and Piri Piri came up as I was searching for a recipe. At first I laughed at 172+ hours for this recipe, but it still intriqued me enough to try it.
I THINK it came out very good. Very different for sure. I followed the recipe as closely as possible and was a bit apprehensive to serve it ""

Reviewed Wine-Braised Pork Tacos

"I didn't realize how long this would take until I got to the part where it said to cook for 3 hours! But it's all good and came out GREAT!! My wife and son loved it too.
I left out the fennel as my son's not a big fennel fan, but next time I may make 2 batches of slaw, one with and one without fennel.
Can't wait to make it again soon! "

Reviewed Linguine with Tuna Puttanesca

"Excellent dish! I used sushi grade tuna also, not because I was afraid of anything, just felt it would be 'better'. I guess I'll have to make it with the canned tuna one day too... just to compare, but with the fresh tuna... 'pretty, pretty amazing! "

Reviewed Asian Grilled Salmon

"This is the only way I make salmon anymore. I think it's definitely best if you can grill it on charcoal. I get lazy sometimes and broil the fish. Still good, but not like it comes out with the charcoal grill...
I'm going to have to try to add some brown sugar others have suggested... that looks like it's a good idea and will add to the glaze... "

Reviewed Chicken Cacciatore

"Excellent recipe. Had a craving for chicken caccitore and landed on Bobby's recipe. Haven't tried Giada's but that looks good to.
I was expecting a bit more "tomatoee" but this was VERY, VERY good. Great spices. I used mini portobella's as creminis could not be found. But other than that, followed the recipe pretty much. I look forward to making this again and maybe trying Giada's when I next get a craving.
