My Activity
Reviewed Mexican Meatball Soup
"I wanted to give this a 5 star rating after I zipped it up a little. It was kind of bland originally. I added the cumin and garlic like the comments below, but then I also added a tsp. of Mrs. Dash, Table Blend, extra salt and pepper (like I said, it was bland) and I also added the whole 6 oz. can of tomato paste. I also pre-cooked some long grain wild rice for the meatballs instead of using regular rice. (just to make it a little healthier) Before serving, I also added a couple more Tblsp. of fresh cilantro while it was still simmering. Then it was AMAZING. I'll definitely make it again this winter.
Reviewed Cucumber Cocktail
"You can buy Hendricks Gin at most liquor stores. It's already infused with rose hips and cucumber. (but it's kind of expensive, so hold on) I love cucumber gin tonics, so let me help you out a little. If you just add a couple of peeled cucumber slices to your glass, pour in the gin and then the tonic, you have a delightful drink without all the work. You can muddle the cucumbers a little with the gin before adding the tonic, but if you do that, you have to strain this first through cheese cloth, otherwise you have seeds and flesh floating in your drink. I don't mind it, but some people do. This flavor combination is "Out of this World" delicious!
Reviewed Happy Trails Granola
"Oh my gosh. I just made the first batch of this about 2 hours ago, and now I'm on batch #2. This in so good. Can't wait to have it tomorrow morning on some yogurt. I'm making up Christmas Baggies to give to all my girlfriends too...........Sunny, you ROCK! The only change I made was w/ the sunflower seeds. Wasn't sure if I should use salted or unsalted, but when I went to the store this morning, they had honey roasted. Oh yeah...............they are good!
