Reviewed Classic Yellow Cupcakes with Milk Chocolate Frosting

"This is the perfect recipe for a dozen yellow cupcakes. I was worried about them not being sweet enough, so I added a little more sugar to the batter until it tasted to my preference, and also chocolate chips! They were great! I'm not sure how others ended up having problems with how they turn out..

Reviewed Scalloped Potato Gratin

"This is the best recipe for potatoes I have ever come across. It's one of those insanely great recipes that I will only make once or twice a year however because of all the cheese and cream in it (which I am to blame for. I added a little bit more cream, more garlic, more thyme and waaaayyyyy more cheese than was in the recipe, but it turned out perfect. I can't imagine NOT adding extra to this recipe. In between the layers, I put some really good cheddar cheese in addition to the parm. I had read previous comments about the sauce being bland, so i made sure to season the potatoes well. Looking forward to Christmas time, so I can make this again to share! Thanks Tyler!!

Reviewed Angel Food Cake

"I had no problems with the recipe, and I was working with a crummy hand mixer, a sorry excuse for a sifter and AP flour. I made these into cupcakes, not using liners in the pan and just filling up each cup in the pan to the top. After they got golden brown in the oven, I took them out, inverted the whole cupcake pan and waited for them to cool. They stayed very light and fluffy with sticky golden brown tops after they were cooled and out of the pan. They're so easy to eat and had such a nice flavor, I stacked two cupcakes on top of one another with frosting, then added more frosting on top! I'm going to try this again with whipped cream and strawberries in the middle next time.
