Very delicious. I didn't use the tablespoon of red pepper flake because I don't like it that hot. I just sprinkled it in and it was perfect. I have never made Gnocchi or eaten it before and it turned out great.""

Reviewed Pork and Egg Lo Mein

Feb 25, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This is the most delicious recipe I have ever made out of the magazine. The whole family loved it. Instead of pork chops I bought a pork loin roast and cut it up myself. I used low sodium soy sauce which was perfect. I could not find lo mein noodles so I bought Chow Mein noodles and they worked out great. I had never heard of broccoli slaw before...

Reviewed Chocolate Souffles

Feb 6, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

It was absolutely delicious. This was my first souffles and it turned out well. My Ramekins may have been a little big because I didn't get the height it said it should or maybe I didn't cook it long enough. I have never tasted a souffles before today so I had no reference as to what the texture should be like, but my whole family was very happy with...

Loved it and would definitely make it again. I have never had chicken and dumplings before and wasn't sure, but these were great. I couldn't find the biscuit mix that she recommended so I just made buttermilk biscuits from scratch and skipped the warm water, but put the parsley in the mix.

Reviewed Chipotle Cashew Chicken with Brown Rice

Nov 11, 2010 in Food Network Community Toolbox on Food Network

Very tasty. My husband loved it. I would use less chicken broth because the rice was soupy. I used the 2tb honey and 1/4 regular syrup (not the fancy stuff), but I would add more because it was not quite sweet enough. I left out the chipotle powder and it was fine. It was a little spicey for the kids, but I thought it was great. I also just used...

Reviewed Fried Chicken

Oct 29, 2010 in Food Network Community Toolbox on Food Network

Best fried chicken recipe yet. I kept the show on my DVR because he shows step by step how to break down a chicken that is so easy. I had a little trouble with getting the oil too hot so it got a little burned, but the kids loved it and ate it and my husband ate the burnt part and he never does that on anything. Will definitely do again.
