Reviewed Grilled Marinated London Broil

"Wonderful marinade! The honey and balsamic are such a good combo and the red wine and garlic are, of course, perfect for london broil. I added slightly more garlic, just because I love it, and my boyfriend put in a touch extra honey (it was noticeable, but good). I love that these are all pantry staples. I'm making it again today and added in a la"

Reviewed Glove Compartment Snack

"Ms. Krieger, I fail to see the connection between making this snack and a glove compartment. Dried fruit and nuts in no way resembles a glove compartment. I think you have this confused with your classic "dark chocolate as a snack" recipe; a square of dark chocolate is much mroe indicative of a glove compartment. Perhaps your colleague Mr. Goldman could craft a cake to represent a glove compartment. Are we perhaps supposed to make this recipe IN a glove compartment? My glove compartment won't fit cherries, a food dehyrdrator, nuts, a toaster oven, a mixing bowl, measuring cups, AND plastic bags. Is this, then, a snack FOR the glove compartment? Mine has never complained of being hungry; I think it gets its nourishment from gas and oil. Ms. Krieger, please include more detail in your recipes. We, the common consumer, have a hard time interpreting your vague directions. We can't all be classically trained chefs with your degree of knowledge and intuition. "

Reviewed Dried Fruit and Nuts

"Terrible recipe. Did not have dried fruit so I substituted fresh fruit that I blowdried for a few minutes (burned my hand - don't use the hottest setting). Did not have unsalted mixed nuts but did have metal nuts in the garage (but now how to use bolts? save for another recipe? how long will they keep?). Wanted to have smaller pieces so I combined in the blender. It made the fruit mushy and broke my blender. Will not be remaking this recipe. Also? It tasted horrible and I chipped a tooth.

Reviewed Sweet Corn and Chicken Soup

"Overall, I really liked this soup. We used to go to a Singapore restaurant that had soup like this and hoped it would mimic it. Very close! Next time I'll only use one can of creamed corn and a bag of frozen. LOVED the ginger - I grated mine on a microplane. I added three eggs for the egg whites - kind of makes it like egg drop soup. Also - did anyone else's turn out much darker in color than Aarti's? I did end up adding more soy (didn't have any boullion but added the next day) so I know that added to the color but even my initial stock was MUCH darker.
