"So good! We just used the beer batter part of the recipe. Cut the onions into petals instead of rings. The batter fried up so crispy! It also "puffed" a little, which we really liked. We didn't add any extra seasoning, and still loved these, but next time, we may try adding the parmesan or some other spice to kick up the flavor a little. The"

Reviewed Sugar Cookies

"The best sugar cookie recipe in my opinion--and I have tried A LOT of sugar cookie recipes over the years. I have made these several years in a row and have never had trouble with rolling them out as some other reviewers stated. They do not get puffy, keep their shape well and after icing--are delicious!!! Mine also stay soft for days--not that they last long.

Reviewed Jacket Potato with Bacon, Mushroom, and Peppercorn Sauce

"This is really good. The only thing we do differently is to add chopped onion-a little in the sauce and a little raw on top to give it some crunch. Might try adding some garlic next time too, but it's pretty good as is.
