Reviewed Homemade Granola Bars
"Worth the effort. I also use anything on hand including pumpkin and sunflower seeds, oat bran and slivered almonds. Had a little problem with burning the coconut so I add it to the roast last 5 minutes. I also eliminate 1 T. butter and add 2 T. peanut butter. Cut some of the honey and use some agave when I can find it. My husband who needed to cut his cholesterol eats a couple of these every night and the oats helped his numbers. Great snack.
Wonderful! Everyone raved about this and there were no leftovers. Meat was succulent and tasty. Our house is alcohol free so I left out the JD and, and used 2 tablespoons of molasses instead; we didn't miss a thing. Hard part is finding the cut of meat at the store.
