I love this recipe and have made it many times. I think the salt indicated has to be a misprint, though. I only use the 1 1/2 tsp and it's plenty. But this is by far one of my favorite recipes on this site."

This is hands down one of our favorite recipes. We use this as a lunch or light dinner in our house and it's a great go-to when we're tired. I use plain couscous and add 1/2 tbsp garlic powder and 1/2 tbsp oregano with salt & pepper during the couscous prep and it turns out amazing. This also tastes great cold as a leftover lunch!"

This is a great soup. I have made it a few times, mostly as written, except with vegetable stock. Sometimes I add some garlic during the last few minutes of cooking the leeks.
