Easy and so good, you can barely tell it is wheat. I used Trader Joes whole wheat dough before- now I will make and freeze my own instead

Followed recipe exactly. Result was a glorified Chocolate Chip Cookie. Very tasty, but certainly nothing outrageous and special. Not really picking up much cinnamon or toffee flavor. I also agree if you use a standard cookie scoop, this recipe makes more than double what is says. I chilled overnight so baking time was more like 19 minutes. "

These turned out exactly as expected, perfect! I halved the recipe, and inadvertently used 1/2 c sugar in my filling instead of 1c and they were still sweet enough. Great texture. Think I would use softened butter next time as melted is quite messy. They were really foolproof.
I made vanilla frosting instead of maple. Will try cream cheese...
