This was a big hit. I only had skinless boneless breasts, next time I'll be sure to get the bone-in skinned ones. The lemon flavor was fantastic"

Hotdamn! These are really good! I'm not usually a fan of beer-based desserts, but these are SO good. Super moist, subtle flavoring. Wow! Who knew this would be so tasty! I needed a fast casserole for a school function and decided to try this. It was a hit, gone in about 15 minutes! The flavors blend really well together. I doubled the recipe and had to cook it a bit longer, but that wasn't an issue."

Reviewed Clay Pot Honey-Lemon Chicken

Mar 16, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on

Wow! The whole family CHOWED on this one! I added some onion into the chicken cavity and fresh minced garlic to both the chicken and the honey sauce. I used half orange blossom honey and half buckwheat honey since that's all I had, and I think the buckwheat honey really added some depth to the flavors. We had a smaller chicken, just under 2lb...
