My Activity

Reviewed Slow Cooker Chocolate Candy

"I had absolutely no issues with burnt peanuts. I used the slow cooker mode on my rice cooker for this and it has a removable teflon bowl. Almond bark is the same as the cheap white candy coat at the store. All of the major chains have that."

Reviewed Slow Cooker Chocolate Candy

"This was very simple to make. I bought Virginia roasted and salted peanuts from the bulk bins at the store and thought that their sweetness added to the flavor. I used Ghiradelli chocolate for this and petit four cups to make the individual candies. My husband loved them and I will be giving them away for gifts. I might add more sweet chocolate "

Reviewed Cinnamon Baked French Toast

"I made this for a quilt retreat recently with an apple filling at the bottom and it was sensational and a hit. Very sweet so it almost doesn't need syrup."

Favorite Foods

I try everything once and then keep the recipe, tune or throw it away.
