Everyone loved the ham. A drawback is that it isn't great for certain leftovers (such as a ham and potato soup) because of all the sweetness outside - so you will have to trim it afterwards. I also didn't prefer to have the sugar and gingersnaps on ham sandwiches. A little more work than other recipes and more work after dinner to make it usable...

This is a tasty salad and it was easy to make. Everyone enjoyed it. I used the suggestions to add candied walnuts and it was absolutely the star of the dish! Those little nuts were addictive. If you're going to make this salad, take that extra step. You'll thank me later!
