Reviewed Countdown #10 Stove Top Candied Sweet Potatoes with Crunchy Topping

"The topping is perfection! I followed the recipe up to the point of making the sauce. I didnt like the flavor combination so I discarded it and proceeded with our usual candied yam recipe. I placed the cooked potatoes into a glass baking dish and put a few pats of cold butter on top. Then I sprinkled with 1/2 cup of brown sugar and the topping from this recipe. I baked it in a 350 oven for about 30 minutes and the outcome was a smashing hit! A new favorite for my family! The corn cereal is so yummy in the topping...what a great idea! The maple syrup is also a nice flavor addition. I will make this at other times through the year since my kids and family love it so much!

Reviewed French Apple Tart

"This pastry crust is perfect. It is so quick and easy to make. I make 12-14 pies at Thanksgiving and this recipe is perfect for mass production. The recipe makes a two crust pie or 1 1/2 single pie crusts. For my single crust pies, I made this recipe twice and then divided it all into thirds. It made plenty for the pies and a small amount left over for my kids to play with. This pastry crust is my new favorite...even better than my grandma's. Shh, please dont tell her I said that!

Reviewed Pumpkin Cheesecake

"Perfect recipe! My 14 year old daughter made this for a Thanksgiving dessert. It was devoured quickly and made my traditional pumpkin pie look sad! This recipe was easy to make and delicious! She made the crust using low-fat graham crackers and we couldn't tell the difference. The crust was actually our favorite part! This has become my family's favorite new dessert!
