"Honestly, this isn't my idea of a good brownie. Many of Ina's recipes are standards in my kitchen, but this is more like a confection or a torte than a brownie. On the positive side, this is a vehicle for chocolate -- more than 2 lbs in one recipe! However, when I want a brownie, I'm looking for chewy texture, and this has the texture of a flourless chocolate cake. It also is so chocolatey and so buttery that I can't eat more than one. It's almost like eating fudge, which may be just what some people are looking for. It's genius for what it is, just not my thing.
