My Activity

Reviewed Lemon Chicken Breasts

"This chicken rocked my world!
I followed the directions exactly, but like other reviewers, blended the sauce at the end, added some butter and cornstarch- heated it on the stovetop to thicken and it made a killer sauce. This could easily be my new favorite chicken recipe. It's perfect! Sooo good.""

Reviewed Scalloped Tomatoes

"This recipe came out so much better than I could have ever expected. I love that its not your average side dish, can be prepared in advance, and because I grew the tomatoes and basil, it was quite inexpensive to make. It looks beautiful and tastes unbelievable. Its a real winner and I know I will be making this side dish for years and years to co""

Reviewed Chicken Burgers with Garlic-Rosemary Mayonnaise

"I LOVED this recipe!
-I only cooked it for 5 minutes a side at found it almost too well done, so watch it.
-I also made each burger and put it on a piece of parchment so that I could easily flip them on to a pan without having to pick up the burger since it is 'wet'. (Based on someone else's review, I also through them in the freezer for about 10"

Reviewed Roasted Cauliflower, Brussels Sprouts and Jerusalem Artichokes

"I found the 'sunchokes' at my Whole Foods and I would have never tried these funky looking vegetables had I not remembered seeing this recipe. Now that I have, I can't get enough of them or their accompanying brussel sprouts and cauliflower. So happy to add this my side dish list.

Reviewed Roasted Cauliflower, Brussels Sprouts and Jerusalem Artichokes

"I had never had Jerusalem Artichokes, A.K.A Sunchokes, and I thought this was a nice way to try them since I had other veg's to choose from in case I didn't like them. Well, I loved them and loved this recipe. So easy and a perfect accompaniment to roasted chicken. I think the time called for was a little more than needed, but not by much- it depends on your oven. Can't wait to make a again.

Reviewed Emeril's Chili

"Flavor gets a 5! BUT, it needed double the chili powder, actually, it needed more seasoning all he way through, but that is preference. Just be sure to taste though out to get it right for you. We simmered uncovered because semi-covered just wasn't cutting it. It also needed an extra hour for the meat to become fork tender. But when we got it just right, it was banging! We can't wait for leftovers and to make it again. Its a real keeper for us.

Reviewed Filet Mignon with Rosemary and Mushroom Gravy

"A delicious, very bold, strong flavored sauce.
Filet is a delicate flavor and my favorite cut of meat, but this sauce is very flavorful so I do think it over powered the filet a little bit. I know I will make the sauce over and over again, probably forever, but may try it on a different cut of meat. I think its a real keeper and very impressive. I followed the recipe exactly and only thing i will do differently is cut back on the rosemary by a pinch next time and cook the steaks longer...but that depends on the thickness you get. Mine were 8 oz each as the recipe called for and I needed almost double the time to get med-rare.
