"This is one of my favorite salad recipes. We've gotten rave reviews from our guests too. I've never added the anchovies, though, since I rarely have them on hand. Maybe the previous reviewer would have liked it w/o the anchovies. We've tried it with parmesan, but it's actually better with blue cheese. And it's perfectly good w/o basil if you don't"
