I reviewed this already. I love the original. It is very easy to make a diet version, though. Instead of making simple syrup I substitute Stevia in the Raw (same amount as sugar) but it doesn't have to be boiled. It dissolves instantly. It saves time and calories. My kids love this version, too.""

This is exactly what I was looking for. I wish I had heeded other reviewers' warnings about the size of the dish. A 3 quart pot is definitely not big enough. What a mess! Luckily I had a cookie sheet underneath. I'll use a larger casserole dish next time. The whole family loved it, though, and I will make it again.""

We all love this, kids included, and they request it often. Once the syrup is made and cooled it's a fun recipe for kids to help make.

This was a huge hit. Everyone wanted seconds. I didn't even have the smoked mozzerella so I had to use the plain shredded and it was still fabulous.

I followed the recipe exactly and mine came out tasting like grapefruit, which I don't care for. My husband loves grapefruit, though, and he thinks it's fabulous. I wish I had read the reviews before making it. I will try it again but I'll be sure to remove the bitter pith first.
