Here's a tip for the glaze. Lay a LONG sheet of plastic wrap in the cake pan. Put a little of the glaze in the bottom, just a little. Lay the cake back in the pan. Poke holes. To previous question... Cubed steak is not "chunks" of beef. They are rounded and pounded flat and then processed by a tool with many blades that cut slices all through the meat without actually cutting the meat apart. It looks somewhat pre-chewed. Think country-fried steak.

As for the recipe? Loved it. I didn't add the beef back...
