"I have made this recipe twice and both times it was wonderful. I was worried that the batter was runny, but, it always turned out perfectly. On another note: I froze individual slices wrapped in waxed paper, and when thawed, it was as good as the day it was made...quite remarkable!"

"I followed exactly and it rose perfectly....however, I could taste the salt (perhaps 1TBS was too much) and it was very dense. I was totally surprised since I followed everything exactly; and a bit bland in taste ( other than too salty). I have baked bread a hundred times and this really was a disappointment.
