Family loved this. I put oregano in the tomato sauce to flavor it and garlic power when I cooked the hamburger along with an onion. Then the sour cream & cottage cheese I used a little dab of some hot pepper sauce I had in the fridge.

I thought the fresh rosemary and thyme was too strong. Next time I'm going to cut in half. Excellent recipe. I also simmered the beef slowly as suggested in other reviews before adding the butternut squash. "

Don't put any salt in the recipe because the smoked salmon and capers themselves are salty ingrediants. I did put in a little dijon mustard. The recipe was fabulous. "
