About Me

Organic Gardening, Cooking and Canning are some of my favorite ‘hobbies.’ My mother taught me to can when I was a youngster. We lived on a farm in Minnesota and moved to California in the 1960’s. In 1998, my husband and I overplanted and the garden got way too happy. That summer, we stayed up until all hours and canned over 1200 jars of produce. Yikes!
