Reviewed Tangy Pork Sandwiches with Spicy Slaw
"This is a recipe I have made nearly a dozen times. I have made it both for my family and for guests, parties and potlucks. It's awesome and have never had ANY negative feedback. It's just so juicy, flavorful and delicious. I love the spicy slaw but as other have said, if you don't like the spice, simply omit the Tabasco.
Also, I have omitted the tomato paste when I had forgot it at the grocery store, and no problem....it tasted just the same.
Also, I have found I prefer to buy the "hard rolls" aka "kaiser rolls" over the hambuger buns. They have a better texture especially when you warm them in the oven first. Yummy!
Reviewed Shells with Crispy Pancetta and Spinach
"Delicious! I made this at a dinner party and it was a hit! I changed one thing. I used 1 jar of tomato basil spagetti sauce as a bed under the shells and still used Giada's cream sauce on top. This way, the dish wasn't too rich because the tomatoe's acidity balanced the cheese and cream really well.
